3s Class Teacher

I fell in love with Providence Nursery School when my husband and I were deciding where to send our son to preschool. As soon as we walked in the door, we knew PNS was the school for us. During the time he attended, I volunteered as much as possible, and was on the Executive Board for 2 years.

When a Teacher’s Aide position became available, I jumped at the chance to come back. Being part of a community where children learn through play and watching them grow – in mind and body – is truly amazing! I have been an Aide for every age group at PNS, and I’m excited to now be teaching the 3s class.

I have a BA in Biology/Chemistry, and spent a number of years working for a Biopharmaceutical company before ‘retiring’ when my son was born. Since coming back to PNS, I have taken numerous classes in early childhood education, and I continually search for opportunities to expand my knowledge in this area.

My home is filled with love and laughter, thanks to my husband, our teenage son, and two feisty cats who keep us all on our toes.
